We are currently working intensively with our congenial partners, the international team of ENNOVENT and the snow leopard experts of the Snowleopard Conservancy on the concept for the Snow Leopard Trail. This has made it necessary to first clarify certain open questions along the planned route in a small team. This reconnaissance tour will take place in November 2018 and we will report about it in detail.

Therefore, the actual Explorer Tour to the Snow Leopard Trail will then follow in spring 2019 and build on the findings of the preliminary exploration. Until then, we still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are excited and in a positive mood, because the team of the Snowleopard Conservancy with Rodney Jackson and Brian Peniston supports us to the best of our ability. Thus, for the exploration (and subsequently for the Explorer Tour) with Tashi Ghale and Rinzin Lama, two of the best wildlife photographers and Snowleopard Field Experts of the entire Himalayas are at our disposal!

We will keep you updated about this unique project and who is interested in participating in the Explorer Tour 2019: It’s best to register now!

Background Info:

A Fair Trail® for the snowlepard

With our projekt Fair Trails® we want to change travel and make the world a little bit better! To this end, we have started a large trail project for the Himalayan region with the international team of ENNOVENT and with the support of the Austrian Development Agency.

The focus is on the development of the “Snow Leopard Trail”! Because with it the protection of this mystical big cat should be supported and impulses for a sustainable development of the villages along the trail should be set.
