It is a mistake to think that anyone can hike because it is nothing more than walking. Hiking is an outdoor sport, perhaps without the performance pressure of other sports. Nevertheless, it requires some knowledge to enjoy this sport.

Many people are more or less burdened by everyday work. Tour operators and sporting goods manufacturers are increasingly bringing their advertising messages to men and women with slogans such as: “Get out of everyday life, go on vacation” or “I’ll be away”.

Of paths and detours on trails. Self-discovery is in vogue and has become a buzzword in recent years. Sometimes you almost have the impression that you have to find yourself, so to speak.

The blog sees itself as a suggestion of how to spend your vacation with teenagers and how to find time away from everyday stress, to exchange ideas, to recharge your batteries and to get a little closer to one another in the family.

For us, making travel sustainable was and is the vision and driving force of the Trail Angels project. Which then begs the question: Can trekking trips to long-distance destinations still have room with the Trail Angels? No attempt at justification!
